"Downtown Style" Korean Catholic Wedding in Dallas, Texas
The beautiful wedding of Sera Moon to Doctor SangDo Park was a Korean Catholic wedding held at St. Andrew Kim Catholic Church, where the entire ceremony was spoken in Korean and the mothers of the bride and groom wore traditional Korean dresses. The bride wore a custom wedding gown designed especially for her. All of programs and stationery were translated in both Korean and English for their guests. Gabriella Garza with G Squared Events coordinated both the ceremony and reception for the bride and groom.
The reception following the ceremony was held at the Adolphus Hotel located in the middle of downtown Dallas which is known for its lavishly ornate and European-style decor. The wedding decor was intended to resemble an English garden, with soft pinks and cream colors. The floral decor created by The Urban Blossom was textured using large and small blooms of ranunculos, English garden roses and peonies with a few orchids added for flair.
Traditional Korean foods were served during the cocktail hour as hor d'oeuvers. The wedding cake was designed by Delicious Cakes to resemble the back of the bride's dress with a lace design and edible pearls. In addition to the cake, guests were also treated to a candy station that consisted of only pink candies. Glamorous photos were captured by Ashley Langford Photography.
