Dallas Wedding Planner® was formed to provide training to those wanting a successful wedding planning business. Dallas Wedding Planner was also established to provide a quality source for wedding professionals to advertise in a cost effective manner, in order to enhance their business and internet presence, and to reach the busy, Internet-savvy clients of our time. Dallas Wedding Planner is committed to quality education and providing students with materials and training that would normally takes several months and, in many cases, years to learn and implement. As responsible and reputable wedding professionals, we, as wedding vendors, are entrusted with performing a role in the single most important day of a couple's life. It is critical that certified wedding planners understand and appreciate the magnitude of that obligation and privilege. ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
The Training Program "Roots: A Weekend Workshop", offered by Dallas Wedding Planner®, was developed by wedding expert Karol Welsh. As a seasoned professional and certified wedding planner/consultant, Karol serves as the primary Dallas Wedding Planner course instructor. Karol Welsh owned and operated a full service wedding consulting firm based in Dallas, established in 1998, until she sold its succesful brand in order to pursue new business opportunities with Dallas Wedding Planner.
Karol was recognized by Who's Who™ in National Executives and Professionals for 2003 - 2004. She was also named "Woman of the Year" in 2004 by the American Biographical Institute® for significantly enhancing her profession. Over the years, her skill for research and eye for detail attracted many clients in the United States and Canada. Karol's work was featured in D Weddings® magazine in 2004, 2005, and 2006. The Bridal Guide® magazine featured a "Big Texas Wedding" that Karol planned at the Gaylord Texan Resort in 2005. Karol and her work was also seen on TLC's reality/documentary show "Always a Bridesmaid" in 2006. She has also consulted with Condé Nast publications for bridal events hosted in the DFW area. Karol proudly supports Brides Against Breast Cancer for their efforts to make a difference in the lives of metastatic breast cancer patients and their families. Karol's passion is for teaching others how to be take the leap into starting a business and become successful in the wedding indistry.
