A popular location for Dallas weddings, Perkins Chapel is the site for approximately 200 weddings each year. About one-third of those who get married in the chapel are SMU students or alumni. The rest are members of the local community. Couples of all faiths have been married in the chapel since it opened in 1951, and some families have had several generations marry there. Reservations for weddings at Perkins Chapel may be made in person or by telephone at 214.768.3035. The reservations office, located at 101b Kirby Hall, is open 10 am – 12 noon and 2 – 4 pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
