Nothing makes us happier than sharing a beautiful wedding…and Fridays of course! With the help of wedding planner Meredith Commender, Kathryn and Nick’s celebration at The Room on Main was one for the books. The day was packed with sweet sentiments, lush florals from Lush Couture Floral and lots of fun and laughter. One of our favorite details were the hand-sewn signs for the back of the bride and groom chairs. Kathryn’s mother surprised the couple with the signs that read “Avere” and “Tenere” which means “to have” and “to hold” in Italian — a nod to Nick’s Italian heritage. Kathryn looked simply stunning in her Monique Lhuillier lace gown from The Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus. Another fun detail? You may recognize one of the groomsmen as the Dallas Mavericks’ very own Dirk Nowitzki!

The ceremony was held in one of the library’s lovely rooms with gorgeous peach, green, and white floral flanking the altar where groomsmen and bridesmaids dressed in taupe stood to witness this union. Meghan and Don met at All Saints Presbyterian Church in Austin back in March of 2011. Don was putting away signs after helping to direct the post-service traffic and paused to say hello to Meghan as she was walking to her car. They emailed back and forth for the next two weeks while Meghan was out of town before finally setting off on their first date.
Soft, feminine and completely dreamy, bride Stephanie’s bridal style exudes a loveliness beyond words. Shades of pink and creamy white provide the perfect palette for a spring wedding – and the floral crown and bouquet by Deitra Butler of Lush Couture Floral tie everything together flawlessly.
