Investing one weekend into the preparation of your business will provide you with priceless information learned from years of experience. Learn directly from a wedding planner who has over a decade of experience. Let Dallas Wedding Planner equip you with the tools and knowledge in order to succeed in the wedding industry. Each session focuses on a particular topic of the business while integrating each area into an overall understanding of what it takes to operate a successful wedding planning business. Students will have extensive interaction with the other participants of the class, plenty of question and answer time and practical opportunities to practice what you are learning in the course.
The cost for meals, travel and lodging are not included in workshop fees. They are the responsibility of each student. If you are traveling from out of town and need assistance with lodging, please contact Dallas Wedding Planner and we would be more than glad to help you find accommodations.
There will be a lunch break each day during the course. Students are encouraged to have lunch together at a local restaurant, but it is not required. This time provides students with a great opportunity to talk about concerns regarding their new business and get input from other students.
Dallas Wedding Planner offers a weekend course, divided into three sessions:
Working with the Bride
Friday Session: In this class, students will learn how to interview the bride and how to understand bride psychology. Students will also learn how to write effective event itineraries and orchestrate the wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception as well as select music for the ceremony.
Establishing a Wedding Business
Saturday Session: In this class, students will learn to charge for their services and fee structures, how to write a contract, how to determine the services to offer in your business, define your niche in the industry, and discuss boundaries and goals.
Marketing your Business
